Overview

Leading industrial equipment and machinery OEMs use Model-Based Design with MATLAB® and Simulink® to address the increasing complexity of their products.

In this webinar, you will learn how to create simulation models of your machines in Simulink by importing existing CAD files. We will demonstrate the process of generating simulation models for your supervisory logic using Simulink and Stateflow. Subsequently, we will establish a connection between this logic and the machine model, enabling a Model-in-the-loop simulation. Then you will learn how to deploy your algorithm on a PLC using automatic code generation. Finally, you will learn how Hardware-in-the-Loop (HIL) simulation helps you testing industrial controls.

  • Machine Simulation using CAD models
  • Automatic code generation targeting a Siemens PLC
  • Real-Time Simulation and Testing with Simulink Real-Time and Speedgoat real-time target computers
