For many tasks in computing, iterating through a loop in order is necessary. In a code that calculates the Fibonacci sequence, for example, the previous iteration will undoubtedly affect the present one. However, some computations are wholly independent of the previous computations in a loop. In this instance, parallel computing can help speed up a task and maximize the use of your processors.
In this webinar, we will be using MATLAB to access multiple webpages. Starting from the traditional for loop we will see how to speed up the process using the parfor function in MATLAB.
