Jonathan Tee, an Application Engineer at TechSource Systems, holds a Master of Engineering degree in Electrical and Electronics from Nottingham Malaysia. With expertise in RF and microwave technology, he has designed Phased Arrays and tackled Signal and Power Integrity challenges.

Jonathan's passion extends to using MATLAB for Communication Systems and RF Propagation. In his spare time, he's a 3D modeling enthusiast and has even built his own 3D printer from scratch. His innovative approach and technical prowess make him a standout professional in the field.

Dr. Marta Patricia Tjoa 

                         Dr. Marta Patricia Tjoa 

Dr. Marta Patricia Tjoa, a Senior Application Engineer Team Lead at TechSource Systems, has decades of experience in expertly using MATLAB and Simulink. In roles like Technical Consultant, Application Engineer, and Training Engineer, she has empowered engineers and scientists, equipping them to harness MATLAB effectively for diverse projects.

Her expertise spans various specialized domains, including image processing, data science, artificial intelligence, control systems, embedded applications, and FPGA/SoC prototyping.

Dr. Tjoa earned her PhD from Nanyang Technological University in Singapore. Leveraging her extensive MATLAB proficiency, she has been instrumental in helping engineering professionals discover innovative techniques within MATLAB.

 

Ir. Ts. Khairuddin bin Mahalil 

                 Ir. Ts. Khairuddin bin Mahalil 

Ir. Ts. Khairuddin bin Mahalil is a Professional Engineer and Technologist with over 17 years of experience in technical verification, project management, R&D, and machine retrofitting. A key figure at SIRIM Berhad, he drives Malaysia’s industrial transformation through the SIRIM Smart Tech Up Programme, empowering SMEs to adopt Industry 4.0 technologies such as IoT, AI-driven predictive maintenance, and precision metrology.

Holding a Master’s in Mechanical Engineering, he combines technical expertise with strategic insight. His work focuses on smart factory frameworks, CNC optimisation, global standards compliance, and precision machining enhanced by advanced metrology techniques.

A registered Professional Engineer (BEM) and Technologist (MBOT), he collaborates with government bodies, academia, and global technology leaders to bridge R&D and industry needs. Passionate about equitable technology access, he mentors future innovators, champions STEM-driven progress, and positions Malaysia as a leader in digital manufacturing. Through his visionary leadership, Ir. Ts. Khairuddin inspires industries to embrace transformative technologies, fostering innovation and sustainable growth for a smarter future.

OSRAM Speaker

                           Dr. Lee Sai Cheong   

Dr. Lee Sai Cheong is a computational physicist graduated from Universiti Sains Malaysia, currently working as a Senior Staff Modelling and Simulation Engineer in ams-OSRAM. He is a domain expert and specializes in LED optics, phosphor materials, spectroscopic characterization, applied optimisation and simulation software development. Since 2021, he was recognised by ams-OSRAM as a Key Expert of Modelling. Apart from his industry job, he is a member of YSN-ASM (Young Scientist Network – Academy of Science Malaysia). He enjoys science education and regularly contributes his technical knowledge through national science education events and peer reviews of technical journals.
