Seminar: Maximize Efficiency and Collaboration with MATLAB-Python Integration for Your Projects!

Date: 17 May 2023   |   2:00PM-4:00PM

Venue: UniKL BMI - PBL Room Level 6 & Online via ZOOM

Overview

MATLAB offers a versatile two-way integration with various programming languages, including Python. The MATLAB Engine API for Python is a powerful tool that enables calling MATLAB as a computational engine from Python. With this API, you can execute MATLAB commands within your Python environment, without launching a desktop session of MATLAB. Additionally, if you have functions and objects in Python, you can directly call them from MATLAB, enabling you to work entirely within the MATLAB environment, without the need to switch between programming environments. This integration provides immense benefits to different teams, enabling them to collaborate and incorporate MATLAB algorithms into production software and IT systems.

Highlights

  • How to call MATLAB from Python
  • How to call Python libraries from MATLAB
  • How to generate python library from MATLAB function
