Workshop Session 1 (Morning)

Revolutionize Your AI Skills with MATLAB's Deep Learning Tools (50Paxs Only)

30th May 23 | 10:00 a.m.–12:00 p.m. (2 hrs) | UTM Digital (Bilik BMU - Venue changed) - Registration Closed

This 2-hour hands-on workshop, "Revolutionize Your AI Skills with MATLAB's Deep Learning Tools," provides a comprehensive overview of deep learning concepts and techniques using MATLAB. Learn about the latest trends and how to develop and implement deep learning models using MATLAB's tools. Enhance your AI skills and stay ahead in this rapidly evolving field.

Highlights:

  • Perform Deep Learning in 6 Lines of code
  • Design Neural Network from scratch
  • Train a pre-trained model for a new application
  • Interoperate TensorFlow with MATLAB

Seminar Session 2 (Afternoon, Concurrent)

Topic 1: Maximizing Optimization Performance with MATLAB Parallel Computing

30th May 23 | 2:30pm–4:30pm (2 hrs) | UTM Digital (Bilik Ruckus) & Hybrid

Learn how minimal programming efforts can speed up your applications on widely available desktop systems equipped with multicore processors and GPUs, and how to continue scaling your speed up with a computer cluster.

Highlights:

  • Demonstrate how you can use parallel computing to speed up optimization problems in MATLAB.
  • Perform a single-level optimization problem in parallel, comparing built-in capabilities with custom parallelization of the computationally intensive objective function.

Seminar Session 2 (Afternoon, Concurrent)

Topic 2: RoadRunner Application Using MATLAB & Simulink

30th May 23 | 2:30pm–4:30pm (2 hrs) | UTM Digital (Bilik BMU) & Hybrid

RoadRunner is an interactive editor that lets you design 3D scenes for simulating and testing automated driving systems. The designed scenes can be exported to most driving simulation environments, including MATLAB and Simulink.

Highlights:

  • Design scenes with roads, markings, signs, signals, and other assets.
  • Export to common simulators and standard file formats like OpenDRIVE
  • Utilization of Graphical Information System (GIS) data import capabilities
  • Simulate scenes and sensors to test perception and closed-loop controls.
