Developing industrial robotics require knowledge and experience in many engineering domains, including mechanical design, perception, decision making, control design, and embedded systems. This webinar discusses a complete industrial robotics workflow from perception to motion. We will walk through the development of a pick-and-place robot manipulator application. Some of the topics that will be covered include:
Performing scalable physics simulation
Designing perception algorithm using computer vision and deep learning
Setting up co-simulation with sensor and environment models
Using motion planning with obstacle avoidance
Using supervisory logic and control using state machine
Achieving advanced control via reinforcement learning
Connecting hardware through ROS network and deployment
Through a pick-and-place robot manipulator application, we will cover:
Creating custom robot designs and importing robot models from CAD tools
Developing autonomous robotics algorithm
Simulation-based testing and validation
Deployment
Please allow approximately 45 minutes to attend the presentation and Q&A session. We will be recording this webinar, so if you can't make it for the live broadcast, register and we will send you a link to watch it on-demand.
