Overview
Dynamic Function Exchange (DFX) is a powerful capability supported by Versal devices that allows for dynamic configuration changes to a portion of a device while the rest of the device continues to operate normally. The ability to time multiplex hardware dynamically on a single FPGA is advantageous. These include reducing the size of the FPGA required to implement a given function, with consequent reductions in cost and power consumption, providing flexibility in the choices of algorithms or protocols available to an application and delivering updates (fixes and new features) to deployed system.
In this workshop, you will learn the fundamental of the DFX concept, development, and deployment will be covered as well.
